Created for the growing Pilates community in Australia, JAUDA focuses on designing high-quality reformer Pilates accessories that combine performance, durability, hygiene, and modern style.
Founded by Mara, a former high-performance athlete and passionate reformer Pilates lover, the brand was inspired by a personal journey of recovery, strength, and movement. Today, JAUDA proudly supports Pilates lovers across Australia with premium Pilates accessories designed to elevate every reformer Pilates workout.
Founder Story
JAUDA was founded in Brisbane by Mara, whose lifelong passion for sport and movement ultimately led her to discover the transformative benefits of reformer Pilates. With over a decade of experience competing as a high-performance athlete, Mara understands the importance of strength, stability, and proper body alignment.
As a competitive high jumper, she placed sixth in Australia, even competing through the challenge of a fractured ankle. She was also recognised for her talent with opportunities to train within Olympic and Commonwealth Games pathways. Her sporting career extended across multiple disciplines including high jump, long jump, discus, javelin, volleyball, basketball, and soccer.
Years of elite sport developed resilience and discipline but also placed significant physical demands on her body. Reformer Pilates became the practice that helped restore balance, rebuild strength, and improve mobility in a sustainable way. It not only strengthened her body but reignited her passion for movement.
During this time, she noticed a gap in the market for premium reformer Pilates mats and stylish grip socks designed specifically for reformer workouts. This inspired her to create JAUDA.

Brand Meaning
The name JAUDA comes from the Latvian word for “power.” As someone with Latvian and Australian heritage, Mara wanted the brand to reflect strength, resilience, and the energy that comes from movement.
To JAUDA, power represents strength, determination, confidence, motivation, and resilience. These are the qualities that inspire both the brand and the Pilates community it serves.
The sun-inspired logo draws from ancient Latvian folklore, where the sun symbolises eternal movement and life. The three stars in the brand represent ambition and the belief that we should always strive to reach higher.
